Huoh, exp hunting, boring, thinking a reinc again (I am a reincaholist, eep! :)

I was asked to put solo exp rates here, but actually I am not watching them. They are something like 20k/h usually

I tried to kill tiger also, but too much bad luck with typing (fumbling a lot as always :) and my skills were too slow this time :(

Collecting some exp, more idling, little partying too. Now I know why I trained forest location skill: it is great when locating players after banish :)

Hmm, simply killing monsters today, nothing special, sniff

A reinc again (human monk, lvl 35). I made little mistake and trained kick to 100%, costed 1.5m exp, ouch. Well trying to get some exp for other skills now :). I also sold my axes and other stuff, gold difference +80k.

Major idling, watching football. (Yippee Netherlands won! :)

I also bought nice +ma +dex +con eq set for myself. (amazon stuff)

Exploring,idling, watching football again (Euro2000 games). Found the nun guild when Ioreth helped a little.

+12% to martial arts skill with my eq set, quite nice addition :), maybe i should buy loin cloth too..

Exploring, (E%: 27), some exp hunt, little trouble with Lim.All started when he begun to kill my friends, first he killed Teb, and then he tried Bisqwit (without success). Here is log from Bisqwit. and here you can see Someone attacking to us and few minutes later Lim is DEAD, R.I.P.

Lim killed me three times today (logs coming later), and got killed by Sirdar and his friends few times more. And just idling today.

Idling, server lagging a much. Noticed that I have nothing to do when idling (e.g. some nice spell like heal all which can be done once per hour :)

More exp hunting, partying a little. (I loaned some money to my friends for reincs, that is why I am so poor now :). Damogles was again very kind and helped to collect some exp.

Some exp, explore & fun. For example I found yet another sub guild place of spiders. Also partying with Durand and Bisqwit.

Basic exp hunting. I lost spider dagger (and sewer ring :( ) because there was a bug in spider sacrifice code, but I got 1 tp from Dragoness (total 22 tps now), so not feeling very unhappy after all :).

Trying to remember how to play the game, lost touch while frozen :P. Also noticed that when spider queen is angry, demons killing you and spider wrath not working being a spider is little frustrating :), but when you get things working everything goes smoothly. Still out of money, but it doesn't matter, I have no use for it atm :).

I have also got a player city for me (4 player co-op project) when I finished my alch reinc (yep, got lots of money then :). The city isn't big yet, but expanding all the time (next targets are portal and society).

Hmm, made about 700k money in one boot by selling potions, not so bad :). I have also collected nice little spr set (for channeller reinc), but then decided to reinc next to monk, because Dagel is continiously bragging about his totals(33.6m); so I need to teach him a little lesson ;). (yes, spider/tiger would probably gain exp faster, but little challenge is welcome :).

If you wonder about my jumping levels, they are just typos, I am lvl48 full alch with 1 merchant and 2 navs :).

Finally our player city is starting to look like actually city. We have portal, weaponsmith, armourer and bank there.

There are no light sources here, but you can still see.
This place has the feeling of a damp cellar. The walls of this large hallway
are made from grey-black brick, joined with mortar so old it can barely hold
its shape. Long tendrils of green, slimy mold grow from the cracks between the
bricks, and glistening moisture beads up on the walls. Wooden rafters, at the
point of rotting, support the ceiling, and the floor is made of dull granite
flagstones (also slick from the humidity). Dripping sounds echo through the
hall, and you get the feeling there is a lot of water to the north -- the air
has that smell.

This jug looks like it could hold about sixty liters of liquid, or a very
well-behaved hobbit (if you could get it through the narrow neck). The jug is
made of steel, an unusual choice for a water bottle. Painted on one side is a
big green skull and crossbones, and on the other side are various runes and
symbols in various colours -- warning signs in different languages. It is
stoppered by a cork and wax seal. Breaking the seal looks like a really bad
idea.

I was browsing my old bat-files and found these logs (April 9 2000): Apprentice (part I) and apprentice (part II).

I also started to code reincarnation simulator, wonder if it ever comes usable :P

Once more Xirtonne party, this time with 2 channellers, mage, priest and 2 tanks, so it was only 4h instead of normal 9h (3man-party).

Hmm, I decided to add extra diary entry and give you people some triggers which makes your daily life easier :).

None of these triggers sends data to mud unless user does something, but I have included automatic mode option there too. If you turn that on, the script might be considered ILLEGAL in your mud, so use it on your own risk and don't come to whine to me if you get removed/banned. Same copyright rules applies to these as to my other triggers.

Sewer-maze mapper started from a competition. I was talking with my friend which way would be most efficient to map and solve sewer-ring maze (can be found from bc). We both wrote our own version and here is mine. Explanation how algorithm works.. (Automatic mode bugs some. If you start getting typo messages, reload the file.)

Every tigers dream: shadow maze mapper. This is simpler version of the sewer-script. On new server you can find Shelaste in less than a minute if lucky. The script keeps track on your route, but doesn't calculate the optimal way, I have been too lazy to write that, since I have had no need for it.

And spiders have similar maze as tigers, so same algorithm works there too. cave.tf

I have also made some semi-automatic runs in few areas.

Those run routes are quite useless if you don't have automatic target setting. Python script generates simple tf-script for that purpose from a datafile.

Additional note: There triggers use quite much macros from other my tinyfugue code and they might not work in your system without modifications.

43M limit broken first time. Only 7M more and I have 50M (umm, it takes probably 2-3 weeks if I can stay in this reinc). Got channeller leadership, even when there are multiple bigger full channellers too :P, luckily leadership doesn't require big totals :). Blue energy aura of leader gives little more power (than red aura) and nice 1104 spmax, but it also lowers spregen more, so I am constantly out of sps in parties :/.

I rewrote my exp plaque routines using Ruby. The most common queries should be little faster now (they are cached). If the new version bugs, you can find the old plaque from here (both use same database, so they have same data).

My freeze is soon over, but Slobber wants me to freeze again with him as soon as my current freeze ends, hmm :)

And how many times I have been frozen last year? Here is the list:3.1.2002(30d), 9.2.2002(30d), 14.3.2002(27d), 17.4.2002(30d), 9.10.2002(22d), 4.11.2002(30d), 29.12.2002(30d) = 199d :)

Few days ago Delveling had some troubles with Lythlandria and he got thrown out from her castle (Lythlandria's version here). Since then he has been on a war path against Lythlandria and today Delveling tried to convince me to move out from Lythlandria's castle. I refused since in my opinion Lythlandria has been a good land lord enough. Her rules are quite strict but they are clear. As long as you don't cause trouble to other players (like pkilling them or raiding their castles and stealing stuff) and follow the rules of Batmud (type "help rules" in bat), you can live in her castle. Of course if you have habit to pkill people for fun or do extensive robotting like Bisqwit (did), you should live in some other place. Eviction from Lythlandria's castle is quite harsh since Lythlandria keeps your eqs, but in the most cases you can buy your eqs back from her (not very bad if you really need your stuff back and after all it was your own fault because you broke the rules).

Personally I live in two (or four actually) places. I have my own castle, then I have one room in Lythlandria's castle, one room in Dawnhill and one room in Atlantis. I have divided my stuff around so if one place gets raided or something bugs I don't lose everything. One eqset per place, so I probably need to reinc if I want to play with eqs. Of course my eqs are mostly from 60k-300k monsters so I can do them back as a channeller in few weeks if I really want to.

If someone would ask from me where is a good place to live I would still recommend Lythlandria's place, since the rent is cheap, Lythlandria isn't stupid and can keep things with her castle in order and lets you concentrate on playing (okok, Lythlandria has quite strong opinions about things and many people don't agree with her, but it doesn't matter actually). Another place would be Stainedsoul's and Bahumat's Fightclub. A room from Fightclub is cheaper for newbies (free if you don't have too much exp) and it is hard to find person who is more friendly than Stainedsoul, but Lythlandria provides better security and better location (Bat-Suburbs is few southwest from south crossing) and in her city you won't be bored :).
